NAF Airstrikes Kill Scores of Terrorists in Borno

Nigerian Air Force (NAF) operatives under Operation Hadin Kai have killed scores of terrorists and destroyed their stronghold in Borno State during a targeted air operation.

In the early hours of Friday, NAF combat aircraft launched precision strikes on fleeing Boko Haram fighters in Bita, a notorious insurgent enclave in the North-East. The air assault, executed under the cover of darkness, dealt a decisive blow to the terrorists and marked a major step forward in degrading their operational capacity.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, announced the operation in a statement on Friday. He confirmed that the coordinated airstrike neutralized many insurgents and severely disrupted their activities.

“The Nigerian Air Force, through the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai, has recorded a major operational success against Boko Haram terrorists,” the statement read.

Following the strikes, ground forces began clearance and exploitation operations to consolidate on the success achieved by the air assault.

The NAF reaffirmed its commitment to protecting law-abiding citizens and defending Nigeria’s territorial integrity. It vowed to continue denying terrorist elements any safe haven within the country.
